Detailed 3 Day Tour Plan

Day 1: Depart Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

Sawubona and welcome to the first day of your unforgettable South African Safari. This morning you’ll be collected from your Johannesburg hotel, by our professional tourist guide, and head east into the lush and scenic beauty of Mpumalanga.

Travel via the sub-tropical Lowveld via Machadodorp before entering South Africa’s largest conservation area, the Kruger National Park. The Park forms part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park. This peace park links the Kruger with Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe, and with the Limpopo National Park in Mozambique and is 20 000 square kilometers in size, roughly that of the Netherlands.

Your bushveld experience will start with a guided afternoon game drive in a closed safari cruiser, seeking out the “Big Five” and other rare and endangered species. The Kruger National Park offers a range of fauna and flora which include: 147 mammals, 114 reptiles and 336 tree species some of which are endemic to the park. Return to your restcamp for dinner.

Overnight at Pretoriuskop Restcamp or similar. Dinner, bed and breakfast

Day 2: Full day in the Kruger National Park

Grab your camera and embark on a pre-breakfast, game drive in a closed vehicle. Early morning is a wonderful time to pursue sightings of our wild friends and beasts at their morning routines. In its immense botanic diversity the Kruger National Park boasts 16 macro eco zones. The northern eco zones are predominantly mopane veld while in the South it is thornveld. The park is also home to 507 bird species and 1 982 plant species. The abundant variety ensures an unforgettable bushveld experience.

Stop for lunch (own account) at one of the camp’s numerous scenic settings.

With the bush firmly entrenched in your senses, you will be returned to the rest camp to freshen up before dinner. Pretoriuskop Restcamp or similar – dinner, bed and breakfast
